Videospielfans aufgepasst! Yahoo Movies hat neue Infos zu den kommenden Verfilmungen der Softwaretitel „Alice“ (von Stardesigner American McGee) und „Max Payne“ durchsickern lassen. Nach scheinbar ewigen Wartezeiten sollen die beiden Filme nämlich in diesem Jahr verfilmt werden und dann schließlich 2007 ins Kino kommen.
„I think there are real opportunities in working in concert with the game companies to create an entertaining adaptation on the big screen that elevates the game franchise,“ said Faye. „There are also untapped opportunities out there to seamlessly integrate elements from the film back into a subsequent game in the franchise“, so Scott Faye, Produzent der Filme.
Bereits vor einiger Zeit wurde ja schon über die Besetzung der „Alice“ diskutiert. Nach aktuellem Stand geht die Rolle noch immer an Buffy-Star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Wer in die Rolle des Cops Max Payne schlüpfen soll, ist bis dato noch unbekannt.
