V-Wars – Bissige Vampire in neuer Horror-Serie von Walking Dead-Produzenten
Der bevorstehende Abschied von True Blood macht den Weg frei für eine ganz neue Generation von bissfreudigen Blutsaugern im wöchentlichen Fernsehprogramm. Tim Schlattmann, einer der Autoren hinter Dexter, wurde jetzt dazu auserkoren, die Pilotfolge zur neuen Horror-Genreserie V-Wars zu schreiben und sich zusätzlich als ausführender Produzent einzubringen. Ted Adams und David Ozer von IDW Entertainment, John Morayniss und Benedict Carver von eOne Television sowie David Alpert und Rick Jacobs von Circle of Confusion (The Walking Dead) werden dem Projekt Leben einhauchen und es auf produzierender Ebene überwachen. V-Wars basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Comic von Jonathan Maberry und erzählt von einer alternativen Welt, die nach der Freisetzung eines uralten Virus vollkommen auf den Kopf gestellt wurde. Je nach DNA reagiert jeder Mensch anders auf die Verbreitung der Seuche. Wer anfällig ist, gesellt sich bald darauf in die Reihen der bösartigen Vampire und hat es fortan auf das Blut der Menschen abgesehen.
